Trading Terms And Conditions

All work undertaken by A&A Private Hire and their drivers is subject to the following terms and conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing.

FARES are calculated by the office at the price ruling at the time the work is carried out. Fares are calculated with reference to distance travelled plus waiting time as appropriate. Fares become payable as a contract debt from the time a car is despatched by the A&A control office.If a booking is cancelled after the car is despatched a cancellation fare becomes due.

WAITING TIME charged at the current rate of £12.00 per hour or part thereof.If a driver arrives at the pick up point earlier than the time booked the waiting time will not start until after 5 minutes of the booked time for the start of the journey.

CREDIT ACCOUNTS are available at the discretion of A&A Private Hire and subject to the following conditions:-

(A) Settlemant Within the due time

(B) In consideration of an accounting charge at the current rate.

SETTLEMENT Credit accounts are available on either weekly or monthly terms.Monthly accounts are maintained subject to settlement within 28 days following the end of the accounting month.A higher settlement charge will incur if settlement is longer than 28 days.Weekly accounts are maintained subject to settlement within 7 days following the end of the account week.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS. A&A Private Hire and their drivers will make every endeavour to give the best possible service with safety and reliable timing for all journeys.A&A and their drivers will not be liable for any delay in completing or commencing any journey due to unforseen circumstance.Passengers are expected to treat the vehicles they ride in with respect.The cost of repair and or cleaning any damage or soling of any vehicle caused by a passenger will be a contract debt recoverable from the passenger by A&A Private Hire and the driver
